With over 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial laws, Mr. Manissh has worked with several Indian and multinational organizations, including Geofrey Manners, Raymond, Siemens, United Technologies, Schneider Electric and Black & Veatch, in progressively senior in-house roles and as part of country leadership team.

He founded Assarkar & Co. in 2019 and provides legal advisory, corporate law support and mediation services to businesses, particularly those without an internal legal department. His approach emphasises preventive legal strategies to help organisations address risks in day-to-day operations.

Mr. Manissh holds degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Mumbai (then Bombay), is a Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE, USA) and a Lean Champion. He has undergone mediation training with Edwards Mediation Academy (USA) and completed the 40-hour mediation programme conducted by the Main Mediation Centre, Bombay High Court under the aegis of MCPC New Delhi. He is empanelled as a mediator for commercial disputes by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and subordinate courts in Mumbai and District Raigad, and is also empanelled with the Centre for Mediation & Conciliation, Mumbai.

He regularly receives court-referred mediation matters.
